Our annual beach cleanup is scheduled for May 31st, beginning at 10:00 A.M with a brief meeting. The beach is located on Pinehurst Ct. Spreading new sand for the beach, cutting and splitting of firewood for the fire pit (splitter will be on site), placing the swim raft and swim area ropes and buoys in the water, and fence repair are a few of the tasks we are hoping to accomplish. Tools needed include 2 post hole diggers, leaf rakes, shovels, garden rakes, 2 weed whippers, and chainsaws. Work gloves and clothing to protect from Poison Ivy are suggested depending on what activity you are involved in. Food and water will be provided and new keys will be available for $60.00, with additional keys available for $10.00. As always, many hands make light work, and while this event prepares the beach for Summer use, this is also a great opportunity to get together after the long Winter, and also welcome neighbors who are new to the neighborhood.
